Atlantic Southeast Airlines, a subsidiary of Skywest Inc. with headquarters in Atlanta, operates a large number of airplanes for Delta Air Lines as a regional feeder company. Among them are the last twelve turboprops of the type ATR-72-200, which ASA is currently still operating in the guise of Delta Connection. N643AS, the original of this model limited to 1,000 items, was registered in June 1994 as the last of its kind.
